If monogamy is supposed to be humanity’s natural state, why do we historically find it so hard? But if it’s not, why have so many scientists claimed to have proven it is? Perhaps it’s time to address the way bias has informed anthropology for centuries, and consider that we might not understand relationships as well as we think we do.
