Polyamory is hard. There's no doubt about it.

Most of us grew up with the idea that there is only one way to form a relationship. In fact, this idea is so ingrained that, in most cases, we're not even aware there are any alternatives.

When I began my journey into ethical non-monogamy and polyamory over ten years ago, I was grasping in the dark. I had no real idea what I was looking for and no idea what was out there waiting for me. Since then, I've learned that the most beneficial thing for anyone beginning their journey into polyamory is information. That, and a community of people to support them through this process.

This is where Discovering Polyamory came from.

My aim is to create a place with people looking to learn more about polyamory and ethical non-monogamy - whether they are getting into it themselves or just want to learn more about it - can find information and support.

Everyone needs something different. Not all of us come to polyamory in the same way. But I aim for Discovering Polyamory to help you find the information and resources to make your journey easier.

Information

Sometimes, finding information on the internet can be tricky. In a world full of knowledge, refining it down to something useful that you can actually understand can be a daunting task. Hopefully, Discovering Polyamory will be a place where you can find what you need to know, or at least where to look for it.

Resources

If there's one thing I know, it's that there are a lot of things I don't know. I don't pretend to have all the answers. Nobody does. But together, we can build up a much better picture than we can alone. So I will share the resources I think will best aid you on your journey.
